About

My name is Jackson Christopher Schuyler and I’m a Political Science major here at U.N.E.

I chose my field of study because of my long-standing interest in the field of U.S Politics and its wide range of applications and effects. I hope to one day secure a position in government hopefully one that allows for positive work towards ending climate change and helping to establish a more peaceful world through work at the United Nations. My primary interests are centered around community involvement with social justice and aide groups. In high school I worked with local LGBTQ+ and Diversity groups on education and community projects. My primary hope of this involvement was educating and making the local community a safer and more welcoming place to all individuals. I also participated in my school’s sustainability club which has made strides to make our school more sustainable an Eco friendly through the reduction of our waste. I wish to continue this in my time at collage and if possible, even branch out to new horizons. The other major interest I had before I came to U.N.E was pottery. I managed to accumulate a novice level of skill with my work to the point that I was considering doing commissions. The forms I made were primarily guttural organic forms expressed through faces and expression on masks. With exaggerated and excessive features meant to captivate and confuse the viewer.
